I started working on a new canvas for one of the walls in my house (not sure where it will go since I think it is too big for the wall it was intended for). Unfortunately, I started it about a month ago and the progress is slow going. I am at the stage where I freeze up because I am afraid that the next stroke of paint will be the one that ruins the art.
Here is what I have so far...
I am going to get up the nerve to finish this. Hopefully it will get done this week. I am going to have to make the time to do it and then just be brave. I will post more pictures as I work on it (hopefully I will remember to take them).

I can't wait to see how this turns out! Your colors are amazing and the subtle shading in the background is fabulous.
I totally get how you feel paralyzed because you don't want to mess it up. I *just* finished a piece that I put off for about a month because I was so nervous about messing it up! What I did was I hung it on the wall and looked at it daily. I finally decided what it needed and was able to finish it.
